Edmonton Indian Fusion Restaurant Performs Selfless Act to Help Less Fortunate

UPDATE April 26 — Here is a wonderful video via Global Edmonton interviewing Parkash Chhibberin in regards to his Indian Fusion restaurant:

This restaurant deserves all of the recognition it gets; and I mean all of it. Indian Fusion – The Curry House, located at 10322 111 Street here in Edmonton is really bringing that neighborly love to a whole new level.

The owner of the restaurant – Parkash Chhibber – found it too difficult to try and find those in need of some food in their stomachs while roaming the streets, so he decided to place a couple of large signs on the back of his restaurant. Those signs will place your faith in humanity at an all-time high.

Taken from their website: “Located in downtown Edmonton, Indian Fusion provides an intimate, and relaxing dinning experience. From the moment you step inside, your senses are engaged with the sites, sounds, and scents of an authentic East Indian restaurant. The warm and inviting decor provides the perfect accent to the menu of authentically prepared cuisine.”

“I am already preparing food for other people, why not for these extra people,” says restaurant owner Chhibber. “I’m not going out of my way — this is my way of life.”

If you are not struggling to make it by and can afford to help out a local business owner, how’s about stopping by the Indian Fusion restaurant in downtown Edmonton to support his incredible attitude and greatly appreciated addition to this beautiful city of ours. I haven’t tasted the food myself, but I’ve heard great things, and their restaurant’s reviews are certainly above average! 🙂

This photo became so popular, it made it to the front page of reddit. As many of you know, that is actually quite an incredible feat to accomplish, and provides whatever gets to said front page with outstanding global recognition.

Thank you for what you do, Mr. Chhibber. I for one, greatly appreciate your efforts in making this city a better place. What you’re doing for your fellow neighbours, is something that is seen very far and few between!
