Watch LIVE — Don Iveson at the 2016 Mayor’s State of the City Address at Noon

Today at 12:00 o’clock noon, Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson will be speaking at this year’s Mayor’s State of the City Address at the Shaw Conference Center. Unfortunately however, if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, the event is already sold out, as per usual. It happens every year, which is to be expected.

WATCH — Good news, however! The event will be streaming LIVE, and you’ll be able to watch it [right here] starting at noon today. Mayor Don Iveson will begin speaking at roughly 12:40 PM.

From historic lows in oil prices to the staggering heights of downtown revitalization, our city continues to dominate national headlines as well as the hearts and minds of its resilient and innovative business and community leaders.

What lies ahead for the coming year? How does Edmonton’s mayor see the state of the city, and what does he envision as the most important priorities going forward during this time of historic challenge and opportunity?

I myself won’t be able to watch the live feed, as I’m sure many of you won’t, so once the live feed is over, I’m sure the video will be made available once the live feed has ended, and when this happens, I will be sure to provide that video on this post for your viewing pleasure as well.
