Movies on the Square’s Last Outdoor Movie of the Year • ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ Playing in Churchill Square on Evening of August 23rd

The City and Direct Energy have partnered up to provide another Movies on the Square even next week.

The movie that they’ve decided to play this time around during Movies on the Square on Tuesday, August 23rd is DreamWorks’ movie ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’.  The movie will be playing on a massive inflatable screen.

Movies on the Square takes place in the heart of downtown Edmonton, at Sir Winston Churchill Square.

There will be pre-movie entertainment starting at 7 o’clock sharp. The movie itself will begin as soon as dusk hits.

The event is hosted free of charge, and so ticket admission is not necessary.

Just to make things clear, this event is not a drive-in movie, but rather, a movie playing outdoors. You should probably bring lawn chairs or something comfortable to sit on while enjoying the evening’s entertainment.

You are best to take city transit, as parking around the Square can be quite difficult to find, especially with many others expected to attend the outdoor event.
