Single Vehicle Rollover at 100 Avenue & 175 Street

There is a single SUV rollover in west Edmonton right now.

A single grey Mitsubishi SUV is seen on its wheels at the corner of 100 Avenue and 175 Street in Edmonton. Both sides, the roof and windshield of the vehicle are badly damaged, presuming that the vehicle was involved in a rollover.

It is expected that the incident occurred sometime between the hours of 1:00 – 2:00PM.

We are unsure if there were multiple vehicles involved in the accident, but at roughly 2:10 PM, there was only one vehicle at the scene, with a single Edmonton Police Service cruiser.

Drive safe out there this evening. Showers have just begun powering down on west Edmonton.

I wonder how fast he had to be going in order to have a rollover in a 60 km/ hr zone? Or how drunk he was going?

My sister was at the BMO when it happened. She said it was actually another car that ran the red going south and hit this silver mitsubishi. Apparently the car at fault was a family of 3 or 4; pretty reckless of that driver. The driver of this mitsubishi seemed fine though.

Hey James, thank you bunches for the added information. I wonder then, if that car you speak of was towed away before I arrived to the scene. Glad everyone seemed fine though.
