The Government of Canada is planning to introduce legislation later this fall to regulate vaping.
CANADA — Health Canada is looking to make vaping products available to adult smokers who are using vaping to quit smoking, but protect the young population from nicotine intake.
This comes shortly after the Government of Canada introduced a proposed ban to the selling of menthol cigarettes, and roughly six to twelve months before the potential-legalization of marijuana throughout the country.
The Government informs that the younger population has increasingly been using vaping products such as e-cigarettes, and more specifically, flavored e-cigarettes, and it may be a gateway to smoking cigarettes due to their introduction to nicotine.
Numerous municipalities across the nation have already introduced measures on vaping in public.

Vaping is constantly rising in popularity in Canada year over year.
The Government of Canada estimates that roughly 87,000 Canadians will become daily smokers this year alone.
