Edmonton Police Service has issued a notice about 27-year-old sexual offender Cyle Larsen, who was released from Calgary’s Correctional Centre, and is now residing in Edmonton, with high belief that he will sexually assault an underage person yet again.
EDMONTON | It upsets me that we are here once again, back with another precautionary article regarding a sexual offender now residing in our city, but the word needs to be spread so that we and our children are as safe as can be on our streets.
His name is Cyle Larsen, and he has a terrible past of numerous sexual offenses, particularly towards children. Unlucky for us, he was recently released from the Calgary Correctional Centre and is now residing in Edmonton under the supervision of the EPS’s Behavioral Assessment Unit.
Larsen is 27 years of age, with a height of 5 feet 6 inches, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair. He’s been making himself infamous on police websites and news reports for nearly a decade now, warning of his impending danger.
Pay close attention to this portion of the release by EPS:
“Larsen is considered an untreated child sex offender with pedophilic interests towards both male and female children. Larsen has a history of opportunistic offending against children known to him; however, is also believe to be at risk of offending against victims unknown to him and has shown he will groom and/or lure his victims if given the chance.”
Edmonton Police Service
The EPS wrote this notice to warn Edmontonians about this potentially harmful man in an attempt to forewarn you, and asks that you do not take this as an invitation to engage in any form of vigilante action. The world needs less harm; not more.

ANOTHER ARTICLE: UPDATED: MISSING PERSON, EDMONTON & HINTON: Nicolis Campbell, 22, Last Heard from Morning of Wednesday, July 27
Cyle Larsen has been placed on a number of court-ordered conditions. You can view them all on the EPS website here.
Please take a second to share this article in an attempt to get the word out there with me. It’s always better to be safe rather than sorry; especially when Edmonton Police explicitly state that this man is more than likely to commit another illegal sexual act whilst residing in our city.
Always be sure to stay aware & safe while you’re out and about.
