According to Alberta Emergency, there is a potential tornado developing in Ponoka, Alberta.

UPDATE AT 6:13 PM — The Tornado warning has been canceled by Environmental Canada.
Unfortunately however, one house was badly damaged before the tornado had calmed.
Those in and around the area of Ponoka and Alix should stay indoors and head to a basement if at all possible.
If you are driving on the highway or other streets, you should park your vehicle on the side of the road safely until further notice, or until it is cleared up.
The severe storm is on a path headed northwest.
