UPDATE 11:35 PM — Well wouldn’t you have it… Snow has entered into Edmonton as well. Drive safe, fellow Edmontonians!
We got a nice dose of rain today here in Capital City, but the folks just 1.5 hours south of us in Red Deer, Alberta, are enduring something a little different; some lovely Spring snowfall.
Have a look at some snow tweets made by the folks of Red Deer:

Of course, it is to be expected. We live in Alberta, Canada after all… We’re still waiting on our last snowfall of the season here in Edmonton. It’ll probably show itself in early or mid-May, as per usual.
I’m sure many of you have already removed the summer tires from your vehicles, so let’s please remember to drive extra cautiously during our inevitable springtime snowfall this year please. Keep an eye on the local forecast, and be sure to leave your homes extra early whenever the time comes where Edmonton gets its final dump of snow. (I’m sure it’s coming.)
